I suggest, if you are mourning this news, that you do the same. I still play backgammon on-line occasionally, and have found many alternatives. As these games are not available stand-alone, they are considered part of a compilation: Microsoft FreeCell Microsoft Internet Backgammon Microsoft Internet Checkers Micr. It has been years since I played Internet Backgammon (the only title listed that I was interested in). In addition to the functions of an OS, Microsoft Windows XP contains a number of games.
